Le blé du Nord. Les affaires et les impôts dans la Bretagne du Ier siècle

Abstract : How taxes were organised in the Roman provinces is still open to question. The Vindolanda tablets are one of the rare sources which mention the tributes paid by the border populations. They also reveal the fraudulent schemes of those (in the main freedmen) charged with collecting them.
