Écritures avides - Samuel Beckett, Louis-René des Forêts, Thomas Bernhard

Abstract : Offering a new comparative reading of Samuel Beckett, Louis-René des Forêts, and Thomas Bernhard, this essay analyzes the hold that their stories exert and scrutinizes the notions of textual greed (avidité scripturaire), excess, and libido dicendi without disentangling them from their opposite, the temptation of laconism and silence.
