Les mobilisations provinciales réussies de compagnies secondes : les négociations des élections d'Auvergne et du Dauphiné avec la monarchie louis-quatorzienne, Abstract

Abstract : The article studies successful provincial rallyings by élections from Auvergne and Dauphiné at the eighteenth-century’s beginning. Disclosing officiers moyens’new capacities to rally by corporate ways, it brings an expressive contribution to the currents approaches on the negociations ways’hardening between the provincial elites and Louis XIV’s monarchy. It also examines the corps’capacities to defend skillfully their common interests. By running back in the same time to provincial unity, the brokers’intermediation and deputation, the second-rank companies success to negociate comparatively profitable agreements. The broadening from their corporate action’s repertoire fulfils a temporary compensation compared with their penalizing lack ofsocial, economic and political capital in majority.
