Troisième quartier. Sons entendus ici

Abstract : This is a sound strip, a short sequence of described sounds, like snapshots, taken in a spacious village. Rather, let us say that these sonic traces, coming from various sources, took the ears of the writer. I tried to describe a set of relationships of this moving ecosystem, the starting point being the sounds themselves, heared sounds I perceived living among this village families. (And it is clear for everybody that this sonorous approach is inseparable from other modes of perception). On the way, these hear notes offer means for understanding the relationships between these communautary land dwellers and their environment, and for understanding some ways of music making. This kali’na (karib) village is located on the north east coast of South America. It is clear for me that such a parception, such an understanding, need that this description be dated and placed.
