L'école, lieu de passage et de transmission : un regard anthropologique et clinique

Abstract : This article analyzes the problems encountered in schools by examining their function on an anthropological level. The only possibility for a society to survive is to help children live and pass-on and-develop themselves as human subject, living in a community. The rites of passage permit to transform complex emotional process into social places, so that they ensure that doubt and uncertainty may exist behind the codes. Such is probably the transitional place that school must find, just when our societies have to face a new challenge: invent what could be an equality allowing some place to filiations.
