Le bilan de compétences : une utopie nécessaire à l'anesthésie sociale.

Abstract : To draw up one's balance sheet of competences, i.e. to analyse one's capacities and modvotions,is generaly considered as an indispensable preliminary for every professional development. However, some social psychology works show up the difficulty of the objective knowledge about oneself as well as the limited help that other, even if he is a specialist, can bring to this knowledge. So the balance sheet step, simultaneously indispensable and unreliable, is paradoxical; unless if it is considered that the real balance sheet's objective turns on the oneself centring and not an the oneself authentic knowledge. ln this unemployement period, i.e. a perlod of inadequation between the number of job seekers and the disponible number of jobs, this centring, that conducts to the job seekers' responsabilisation, allows to preserve the job market from any causal question.
