La valorisation de l'internalité : une hypothèse conditionnelle

Abstract : One of the criterion of evaluation of somebody, in life out of work and in professional field, is based on the position of this person on a scale of internality-externality. People who are said internal are those who think that behaviour depends on their personal characteristics and that the rewards and punishements they receive depend on this behaviour. On the other side, people who are said external are those who think that their behaviour is due to external causes (circumstances, environment...) and who again associate everything the receive to external phenomenous. On the whole, the studies, carried out in this field confirm the fact that valuers prefer internal to external people, what means that applied to professional field choosers prefer internal subjects. The present work then breaks this assertion in showing clearly that under some circumstances, external people can be prefered to internal people
