Niveau hiérarchique, style de management et infortunes de la norme d'internalité

Abstract : ln keeping wlth the hypothesis formulated by the initiators of the intemality norm, it is here observed, in a first study, that this norm has a restricted application : it only concerns the powertul individuals, i.e. ln our experimental investigation, the private sector's executives. We also note, in a second study, that this restriction leads to the absolute elimination of this norm's expression when the internality of these executives refers to Internai personalities or behaviors reflecting the hypocrisy or the inclination to cheat. This conducts to ask the question of the internality norm's validity and to propose an alternative norm: the allegiance norm.
