Propos introductif : de la non-mixité à la parité à l'Université

Abstract : At the end of the 19th century, a few female students began to appear French universities. Their presence increased after the Second World War, but there are still very few female academics. Academia remains traditionally dominated by men and even today, women academics face a tough glass ceiling. Some recent legislation has tried to promote gender equality at universities, in particular by placing a greater emphasis on parity in the decision-making bodies.
